Natesha is a writer for theatre and television. She graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in 2017 and is currently a resident playwright at Melbourne Theatre Company.
As a playwright, Natesha has had work developed through Playwriting Australia, and her plays performed at: Melbourne Theatre Company’s Cybec Electric Seasons in both 2017 and 2018; Playwriting Australia’s National Play Festival; the Melbourne Fringe Festival; and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Her plays include: ENTOMOLOGY; HUMAN RESOURCES; and JEREMY AND LUCAS BUY A FUCKING HOUSE.
As a screenwriter, Natesha worked as writer for season 2 of GET KRACK!N for the ABC and was a member of the writers’ rooms for the television mini-series SIXTEEN for Madman Pictures and THE INTERPRETER for SBS. She is writing an episode of THE UNLISTED for Aquarius Films and is part of the writers’ room for the series.
After a sell-out season at La Mama in 2017, Natesha’s play JEREMY AND LUCAS BUY A FUCKING HOUSE (in which she also performs and co-directs) returns to La Mama for another sold-out season as part of the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
