Simone Romaniuk is an award-winning live performance designer who works across theatre, opera, and festivals.

Simone was Creative Director of OzAsia Festival and Creative Director/Designer of the Moon Lantern Parade at the Adelaide Festival Centre from 2015 - 2019. She was Resident Designer with Queensland Theatre Company in 2012, and prior to this was an Affiliate Artist with the company.
Simone has won and been nominated for multiple Matilda Awards and was a Manchester Theatre Awards design finalist. While she was Creative Director, OzAsia Festival won Best Major Festivals and Events in the South Australian Tourism Awards 2019 and was shortlisted twice for event design in the Australian Production Design Guild Awards.
Simone holds a Bachelor of Dramatic Art, Design from the National Institute of Dramatic Art and Bachelor of Design Studies, Three Dimensional Design from Queensland College of Art. She is an accredited member of the Australian Production Design Guild.
