As an actor Ben has worked comprehensively in both Australia and the US. His television credits include FIREFLY LANE, DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, 13 REASONS WHY and THE GOOD PLACE. Film credits include Jay Roach’s acclaimed film BOMBSHELL where he portrayed the role of Lachlan Murdoch and opposite Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher in Paramount’s NO STRINGS ATTACHED.
A graduate of Sydney’s National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), Ben has worked extensively in the theatre throughout Sydney and Melbourne. On Australian screens he has appeared in RAKE, SECRETS AND LIES, LOVE CHILD and NEIGHBOURS. Additional credits include roles on MODERN FAMILY, COVERT AFFAIRS, DON’T TRUST THE B— IN APARTMENT 23, DOUBT, 2 BROKE GIRLS, MULANEY and BONES.
In 2020 Allen and Unwin published Ben’s hardcover book TO MY COUNTRY, illustrated by Bruce Whatley, which he wrote in response to the Australian bushfires with all proceeds going to The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital. Ben is currently developing an original series for television.
