Guy Edmonds is an award-winning director, writer and creator working across television, film and theatre. He is currently the script producer and setup director on a new series from Easy Tiger (SCRUBLANDS, TERRITORY, COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS).

​He co-created, wrote, acted in and directed ABC's International Emmy® award-winning and twice Emmy®-nominated live-action comedy series HARDBALL for Northern Pictures, distributed internationally by ACTF. Spanning two critically acclaimed seasons, the series won multiple international awards - including Best Children’s Fiction Program at the Prix Jeunesse International, BANFF Rockies, The Remis and Japan Prize - and earned him his first Australian Director's Guild nomination for Best Direction.

Guy also co-created two seasons of BBC/ABC’s AACTA-nominated SPOOKY FILES, on which he was director, executive producer, writer and actor. Produced by TAP/Matchbox, the series secured his second Australian Director's Guild nomination for Best Direction.

He has co-authored two critically acclaimed book series - ZOO CREW (Scholastic) and ZOMBIE DIARIES (Hardie Grant) - the latter translated into ten languages to date.

Guy’s feature film writing and directing debut, NEST, is currently financing through Mushroom Studios, starring GQ's Actor of the Year, Felix Mallard (Netflix’s GINNY & GEORGIA). He is attached to direct several other films with leading Australian and international producers, and has a number of original series and films in active development.
