Guy co-created, wrote, and was a director on ABC's Emmy® award-winning, and twice Emmy® nominated, live-action comedy series HARDBALL. Playing for twenty-three episodes over two seasons, this series earned Guy his first Australian Director's Guild nomination for Best Direction. HARDBALL also won Best Children’s Fiction Program at the Prix Jeunesse International Awards, BANFF Rockies, The Remis, Japan Prize, and more.
He directed across two seasons of BBC/ABC's SPOOKY FILES, on which he's also co-creator, executive producer, writer and actor. Produced by TAP/Matchbox, this series earned Guy his second Australian Director's Guild nomination for Best Direction. He's co-written two critically acclaimed kids book series - ZOO CREW, published by Scholastic, and ZOMBIE DIARIES, published by Hardie Grant. ZOMBIE DIARIES has, so far, been translated into eight languages. His feature film debut Nest is being produced by Mushroom Studios. In addition to DANCE SPIES, a TV action/adventure series with Northern Pictures he’s created and written, he has several new film and television projects in development as a writer and director, has a new book series out in 2025 and is attached to direct a thriller/romance feature film for a leading international producer.
As an actor he is best known for his work on such programmes as SPOOKY FILES, WELLMANIA, UNDERBELLY: RAZOR, HARDBALL, A MOODY CHRISTMAS, HOME AND AWAY AND THE SECRETS SHE KEEPS. On stage, he starred in the world premiere productions of HOLDING THE MAN in Australia and London's West End, and RUPERT in Australia and Washington D.C, USA. He has over fifty credits on both stage and screen.
